Field Notes (Currently Japanese Only)

Essays and research notes that do not fit the tutorial format: the chemistry of hot springs, the link between landforms and history, and the failures faced in everyday simulation work.

“Records of the dramas of nature and trial-and-error behind the data and code.”

This page is a collection of essays and research notes from various perspectives that do not fit into the framework of full-fledged technical tutorials (Series).

From columns scientifically deciphering the chemical properties of hot springs, to considerations of the impact of topography and geography on history, to records of failures encountered in daily simulations, and down-to-earth troubleshooting. It unpretentiously records the “thought process” and “curiosity about nature” of a researcher.
